Getting to Amiskwi Lodge
In 2009 the Blaeberry River took out much of our access road, making it impossible to drive to Amiskwi. Amiskwi Lodge is now a helicopter access only lodge.
From the Alpine Hanger at the Golden Municipal Airport, our guests have a spectacular twenty minute helicopter ride and land right at the lodge. Guests meet at the Alpine Helicopter Hanger at the Golden Airport at 11:15 for a safety talk and loading.
The first 5 or 6 guests fly from the hanger and the rest of the group drives to OB camp (see location on map above and PDF driving directions below). Extra vehicles can be parked in the Alpine secure parking area.
