The main floor in the restored two-story log building has a fully equipped kitchen with propane stove, oven and barbecue. Our propane freezer and four large stainless steel coolers with freezer packs serve as our no hassle fridge. Our kitchen has utensils for cooking and eating. Solar and propane lights are on both floors and in each bedroom. Fifteen people can enjoy their meals around a huge handmade table. In the lodge are two composting toilets, one on each floor.
Sitting around the fire crackling in the wood stove is a perfect way to end the day. We have a great sun room with fantastic views - a place to sit and relax. The lodge includes a separate room set up as a drying area for wet clothes and a workshop for tuning your equipment.
To restore your energy after a great day outdoors, the four upstairs sleeping areas have comfortable beds and pillows just waiting for your sleeping bag and pillow case. The 4 sleeping areas feature 4 double and 10 single foam beds & pillows.
With opening windows in every room, fresh air and beautiful views can be enjoyed. If you are sore after a day on the mountain, try our traditional wood fired sauna and showers, remember to bring your towel. The sauna building has a wood fired sauna, change room and two showers.
Amiskwi Lodge has solar powered lights as well as propane lights and two indoor composting toilets, luxuries in the backcountry. With 10 or more friends you can book the whole lodge for yourselves.
The ideal group size for the lodge is 10 people, although 15 people can be accommodated easily. With 10 or more friends you can book the whole lodge for yourselves.
