Amiskwi Lodge, Quick Notes - Summer


Waivers

All guests must sign their waivers and have them witnessed
Waivers must be received by Amiskwi before arrival date,
preferably six weeks before your arrival date, if possible.

The Lodge

Our kitchen has utensils for cooking and eating. It is equipped with a propane stove and propane freezer. Heavy-duty coolers with freezer packs serve as our no hassle fridge. Solar and propane lights are on both floors and in each bedroom. In the lodge are two composting toilets, one on each floor.
Upstairs–there are 4 sleeping areas w/3 dble & 10 single foam beds & pillows.
The sauna building has a wood fired sauna, change room and two showers.
We have a No Pets and No Smoking Policy in our buildings.

You

You will need a sleeping bag, pillow case, and towel.
Plan your food & clothing carefully, you have to carry it all up a steep trail. To acquaint yourself with the lodge and how things work, read the Information Binder, which is hanging in the lodge.
At the end of your stay, please take out all your food, garbage and belongings. Respect the others at the lodge.

Rescue cache located at the back of the sauna building

To conserve our solar powered batteries, please turn the phone off when no one is in the lodge and at night when people go to bed.
The group leader will be invoiced for any and all calls, in or out, upon receipt of our phone invoice. Please record the group leader’s name, your name, the date and time of your call in the phone book.
