Getting to Amiskwi
Amiskwi is accessed by helicopter only, via Alpine Helicopters located in Golden, BC. In the winter, guests should wear all their ski gear on the helicopter.
From the Alpine Hanger at the Golden Municipal Airport, our guests have an awe-inspiring twenty-minute helicopter ride which lands right at the lodge. Guests meet at the Alpine Helicopter Hanger at the Golden Airport at 11:15 am for a safety briefing and loading. There is secure parking at the Alpine hanger for guest vehicles.
Fly In Schedule
The first flight into the lodge leaves at 12:00, unless otherwise arranged. Guests should be at the Golden Alpine Helicopter hanger, located at the Golden Airport at 11:15 with gear loaded onto wheeled carts, cars parked in secure parking, and ready for the helicopter safety talk.
Fly Out Schedule
Guests at the lodge need to be ready to fly out by 12:00. The lodge should be cleaned & ready for the next group. Garbage boxed up, taped and labeled as "garbage out". Gear, skis and equipment organized and ready to load.
